Karen and Adam's Rustic Scottish Wedding

“I think these are some of the most beautiful flowers you have made”

Karen and Adam were married in Autumn 2021 at Cromlix House, just outside of Dunblane in beautiful Scotland. After the difficulties surrounding the Covid pandemic, they wanted their big day to be relaxed and lots of fun for everyone! Although it absolutely poured with rain all morning, thankfully, around 1pm the sun came out and it stayed dry for the rest of the day with just a hint of sun for the photos!

The colour scheme was rustic, autumnal colours with navy for the bridesmaids and Adam wore a muted Hebridean tartan kilt with navy grey and red. The flowers were carefully planned to fit in with their theme and included preserved peach roses combined with a wide variety of burnt orange and red grasses, field flowers and seed pods.

The ceremony in the lovely chapel was really special. It had a relaxed warm feeling and Karen’s two nieces, Ella and Rosie and her nephews, Max and Angus, walked down the aisle together.

Karen’s old friend from Uni played the pipes for them and they got some great pictures of Andy Murray’s tennis courts, including a pic of Adam on the umpire chair! (Andy Murray owns Cromlix House!)

In all, it was the perfect day and everything came together as planned. Thank you Karen and Adam for being Sleeping Flower customers! It was a pleasure to work with you!
